In 1936 Telliskivi tehas was founded, which was the predecessor of Reiden and located in the same place where Reiden is nowadays. After that the Company has been working under names like Keraamika- and Ehitusmaterjalide Factory. Reiden Ltd. was founded in 1991. Same year they signed a lease rental contract with state. In 1993 Parent company was founded and different factories where divided as 100% owned subsidiaries. Asset privatization contract was signed in 1994. Today the company is owned by 60 former and current employees. Share capital is 40,000 €
